Margaret Thompson (Chair)

I have been a governor and Chair at Easton Royal Academy since September 2023. 

As the daughter of a teacher and the mother of two daughters I have always had a keen interest in education and in particular the nurturing of young minds.  I like to see children flourish in an exciting and supportive but challenging environment and that is what Easton Royal Academy provides. 

I am also involved in the wider activities of the Excalibur Academies Trust  beside being Chair of the Local Academy Committee at Oare Church of England Primary School where I have been a governor for over 10 years. 

I am active in the local community as a trustee of two local charities and am a qualified solicitor. 

I am always available to speak to parents and can be contacted via the School Office.
